Russell Brynolf

CEO

Russell Brynolf is president of FTS Technologies having started the company in August 2001.  Russell is also the inventor and patent holder of the ATmaP® surface treatment technology.

Widely recognized as one of the worlds leading experts in surface treatment and surface modification of engineered resins and other materials, Russell has more than 25 years experience in this discipline and has traveled the world educating customers.

Russell has gained engineering degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Combustion Engineering from his formal education in the UK.  From 1978 until 1990, Russell worked as an Engineer and Technical Officer for British Gas Corporation.  His career diversified into process industry and in particular the application of 'Flame Treatment' as a method of pre-treating plastics to improve adhesion of coatings. 

In Mid 1999 Russell 'stepped out to develop a new method of surface treatment that was both innovative and necessary for the automotive industry to meet its objectives of higher production, lower costs, and higher performance/quality.

The now patented ATmaP® method of surface treatment has taken Russell and his team three years of Research & Development.  Since the beginning of 2003 ATmaP® has been commercially available to the marketplace and has been widely accepted as a viable manufacturing process.

Kym has a degree in Commerce and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course [1999].  He has over 25 years of experience in senior management roles in retail, engineering, manufacturing, IT, agribusiness, in corporate recovery roles and as an Entrepreneur creating his own businesses, with more than 17 years being at either, the General Manager or CEO/Managing Director level. 

He also has had extensive commercial experience in South East Asia, Europe/UK, South America and the USA in negotiating and setting up subsidiaries and distribution channels/partners and licensing agreements.

Kym has led the development of many businesses product and marketing strategies, and new planning, programming and management activities to ensure successful commercial outcomes.

Scott MacKenzie

Scott is a chartered accountant and has over 25 years experience working with businesses.

He is managing partner of a boutique firm of chartered accountants based in Adelaide, South Australia, and has a large variety of professional and business clients encompassing a diverse range of business services. Amongst the clients of the the firm is a licensed investment company that has over $420 million under advisement. Scott was one of the initial shareholders, providing full administration services to five managed investment schemes.

Scott has had extensive experience with capital raisings and valuations of businesses and has extensive contacts in the business world.

Scott is chairman of FTS Australasia and is responsible for day to day financial controls and budget strategies.

 

Mile Soda

Director

Mile has been involved with manufacturing for over 26 years with experience in companies ranging from white goods, automotive seating, plastic molding and painting, and design house / tooling both in Australia and China. He has also worked around the world as a consultant in the implementation and teaching of the principles of lean manufacturing and team work.

Mile has spent time living and working in the USA as General Manager of three plastic molding and painting plants and on specific assignments in Europe.  Over his career he has worked his way from the shop floor to Managing Director for one of the world largest plastic engineering organizations. Mile has formal qualifications in Industrial Engineering, which has supported his fundamental focus on process and people involvement.

Mile has had extensive experience and success in the turnaround of poor performing businesses through the involvement of continuous improvement and the team approach.
